Squeeze meet Frank Sinatra without ever passing near the charts. With the superb "Elephant Girl" this single's complete bomb meant any chance of an EP of extra tracks which missed the LP was well and truly abandoned. I saw the acetate designs for the USA picture sleeve of “I’ve Returned” backed with “When the Hangover Strikes” when I worked in the Squeeze management office in Putney in 1982, but I never saw any printed. |
