“Let me add right now that Squeeze was the first show I saw at The Metro, and - most likely - will be my last. Although a highly regarded venue in Boston, I feel it’s subject to far-too-much false praise. The sound is horrendous (always over-amplified), and the mere construction of the building makes for lousy acoustics: bars placed randomly around, and the place swerves in all directions so a large part of the audience never sees the stage, but a large wall with a video screen showing them waht they paid to see live.
