A brilliant gig on the East Side Story tour. Tickets cost £2.50 in advance or £2.75 on the door. I went with my friend Justine and got invited into the tour bus for a tour around Manchester in search of the stage entrance, went backstage for the afternooon for a chat and took some photos backstage. Chris Difford wore a cravat, Gilson showed off his double chin and Paul Carrack ate the remains of his yoghurt with his fingers.
