Squeeze, who this week draw close to the end of their extensive UK tour in support of their current A&M LP “Some Fantastic Place”, release a brand new single on October 25th entitled “LOVING YOU TONIGHT”. This soulful ballad, which reinterprets the classic sounds of the vintage stax era, was written by Difford and Tilbrook, and features the heavenly vocals of keyboardist/vocalist Paul Carrack (who also sang on the Squeeze classic “Tempted”). The 7" is coupled with “LOVING YOU TONIGHT” (Bob Jones 7" edit), whilst the 12" offers 2 additional Bob Jones mixes, including one instrumental. The special digipak CD offers up another 2 tracks in “Tempted” and “Third Rail” both recorded live for VIRGIN RADIO July 6th ‘93).” |
